Zara Oxford Street Staff Took My Sunglasses from Fitting Room
On 11 July, at the Zara store on Oxford in London, I forgot my sunglasses in the fitting room on the second floor. When I returned shortly afterwards to get them back, I was met with an indifferent and dismissive attitude from the staff member there. The employee told me they had not seen my sunglasses and that they were not there. When I insisted and argued about the situation, I found out that this same staff member had actually taken my sunglasses for themselves. The fact that a Zara employee can take a customer's personal belongings is absolutely unacceptable and has caused me to lose my trust in your brand. I request that Zara conduct a serious investigation into this incident and take the necessary disciplinary measures regarding the employee involved. I also expect you to review your hiring and training processes so that your staff are selected and supervised more carefully, as it is unacceptable for employees to steal customers’ personal items.
