I Bought a Zara Oil & Vinegar Set and the Vinegar Bottle Exploded on Its Own

On April 4, 2025, I purchased an oil and vinegar bottle set from a Zara store. I filled one of the bottles with vinegar and simply left it on my kitchen shelf. To my shock, the cork popped off on its own, and shortly after, the top part of the glass bottle cracked and broke completely. I didn’t even touch it. It just broke while sitting there.
When I contacted the Zara store where I made the purchase, they told me, “The vinegar’s acid must have caused the pressure, that’s why it exploded. We can’t take it back. You’ll need to call customer service.” Unfortunately, I cannot make international calls, and I clearly explained this to the store employees. I asked them to reach out to customer service on my behalf, but they refused, saying it’s not something they can do.
