Yemeksepeti Refused Credit Card Refund and Blocked My Wallet Funds

On January 17, 2026, an order I placed through Yemeksepeti was canceled by the restaurant. Instead of refunding the $12 charge back to my credit card, the amount was transferred to my Yemeksepeti wallet without my consent. I did not question this at the time and later placed another order worth approximately $9.

However, after this transaction, the remaining $2 balance in my Yemeksepeti wallet became completely unusable. I cannot use it, cannot add money on top of it, and cannot complete a payment by combining it with my credit card. I find this practice extremely unfair. Redirecting customers’ money to a wallet without their consent and then effectively making that balance unusable is an approach that clearly disadvantages and harms customers.

Moreover, I am unable to reach customer service, and I have no way to explain or resolve the issue I am experiencing. I have seen many similar complaints on Şikayetvar regarding the same problem, which is why I believe this situation now requires intervention.

Regarding this transaction with reference number DT-03-bs, I request that the full $2 remaining in my wallet be refunded to my credit card. I do not accept my money being blocked or made unusable in this way, and I request that my grievance be resolved urgently.
