Yemeksepeti Order Canceled After 1 Hour Despite Restaurant Showing Open

On January 1, 2025, at 1:11 AM, I placed a cash-on-delivery waffle order through Yemeksepeti from a restaurant called Tatlişko Waffle & Tatlı. In the app, the restaurant appeared open and available for ordering. However, after waiting for more than an hour, I received a message from Yemeksepeti stating: “Tatlişko Waffle & Tatlı had to cancel your order due to closing hours. If you made a payment, a refund will be issued. B043.”
I placed the order late at night specifically because the restaurant was shown as open. I waited over 60 minutes, only to be informed of the cancellation after all that time. Even though my order was cash on delivery, my time was completely wasted. Additionally, I had used a 50% discount coupon on this order, and this situation effectively caused me to lose that benefit as well.
I have experienced similar issues with Yemeksepeti multiple times before, and this time I was not even able to reach customer support to speak with anyone. Due to these repeated problems, misleading availability information, and extremely delayed cancellation notifications, I have completely lost my trust in Yemeksepeti. I want this issue to be formally recorded and addressed.
