Yemeksepeti Courier Shortage Is Destroying My Restaurant Orders
I am a restaurant operator on the Yemeksepeti platform with the restaurant code TPDA. In my area, there are almost no couriers available, while in the Çarşı area just 4 km away, couriers are actively and heavily assigned. In the region where my restaurant is located, despite there being many large residential complexes, only 3 couriers have been assigned. Because of this, I receive almost no orders, and customers avoid placing orders since the app shows delivery times of 40–50 minutes for distances that should normally take only 5 minutes. Even when customers pay extra for priority delivery, orders remain waiting in the system pool for a very long time due to the lack of available couriers, and the orders only appear on my screen nearly an hour later. During this time, customers call me saying they no longer want the order. However, neither I nor the customer can cancel the order easily, which leads to unnecessary disputes. In just the last 2 days, I lost two bulk-order customers because of this issue. While my daily order volume used to be between 10–15 orders, it has now dropped to only 3–4 orders, causing serious damage to my business. This problem has been ongoing since April 11, 2026. Although I have repeatedly reported the issue through Yemeksepeti customer service and support channels, they only open support tickets, keep them pending for 24 hours, and then close them without taking any action. My request is for the courier planning in my region to be urgently reorganized, either by merging my area with the Çarşı region located 4 km away or by combining both areas into a single logical courier pool. If necessary, I am even willing to pay an additional ₺30–₺40 per courier assignment, as long as my orders can be picked up and delivered on time. Otherwise, due to the current courier shortage, both my business losses and customer dissatisfaction will continue to increase.
As usual, you sent an automated message. Just like when I created a ticket and an email. You have no intention of solving anything. You ignore small businesses, assuming you'll profit from someone else anyway. You opened a store in a place without couriers for us. When you have no solution, you just keep saying that purchases are continuing. Are we supposed to wait for a courier job application in this area, and what will we eat in the meantime? There is no courier in Silivri Fatih Sultan neighborhood, and in the neighboring new district, couriers are waiting in front of the mall for at least 20 orders to drop. If you combine these two areas, neither they will wait for packages nor we will wait for couriers. Today at 11:19 AM on Sunday, I couldn't get any orders because you closed the shop saying there were no couriers. You are violating people's rights.
