I set up my Xiaomi C400 security camera in May through the Mi Home app to monitor my family while I’m abroad. I purchased the camera via Trendyol, and it is still under warranty. About a month after setup, the camera started going offline intermittently. At first, unplugging and reconnecting it temporarily fixed the issue, but later that stopped working as well. Currently, the device has been offline for two days, and the Mi Home app shows the message:
“Device offline: offline time: 04/10 22:19.”
All other devices in my home have a stable internet connection, and the Wi-Fi works perfectly — only this camera experiences disconnection issues. I’ve checked the modem multiple times, and there is no network problem on my end.
I updated the camera’s firmware once, and since that update, the offline issue has become more frequent. The disconnections occur randomly, sometimes lasting 5 days, sometimes 15 days. My purchase and warranty documents are currently abroad, but I can provide them if needed.
I request a permanent solution to this issue so that it does not happen again. If necessary, I ask for technical assistance or a product replacement. I also believe this is a serious security concern for many users who rely on this camera for home monitoring.
