Ingenico Authorized Service Fails to Fix Alert Error and Charges Unfulfilled Repairs

On August 10, 2026, our Ingenico iDE280 payment terminal displayed an "Alert" hardware error, requiring us to send the device to authorized service. After approximately 11 days, we paid nearly $160 for repairs, and the terminal was returned to us. However, just seven days after receiving it back, the exact same "Alert" error reoccurred, rendering the device completely unusable once again.
In addition to the main repair charge, the service center demanded an extra $22 (800 TRY) under the claim that the device cover was broken. We paid this fee in full. Yet, when the terminal was delivered back to us, the new cover had not been installed, nor was the unfulfilled fee refunded.
When we contacted customer support by phone, the service team deflected responsibility, claiming the recurring failure was caused by user error. Blaming the customer for a repeat hardware failure occurring within a week of paid service—while retaining payment for unperformed physical repairs—is completely unacceptable commercial behavior.
I demand that Ingenico re-examine and repair our iDE280 terminal for the recurring "Alert" error completely free of charge under service warranty. Furthermore, I demand that Ingenico either install the paid replacement cover immediately or issue a full refund of $22 for the unfulfilled repair work.
