Woolworths Left My Elderly Mother's Groceries at the Complex Entrance
My elderly mother lives alone in a retirement community, so I recently ordered groceries online from Woolworths. Assuming the driver would bring the groceries to her house, as advised on the internet, I especially selected home delivery. But the driver left all the bags outside the complex's main door when the delivery was made. My mother, with limited mobility, couldn't get the goods herself. Had a neighbor not been walking by, the groceries most certainly would have stayed there, easily subject to theft or deterioration. This degree of service is inadequate, particularly because Woolworths was hired to deliver the promised care for older clients. This made me stressed unnecessarily, so I expect better service.
