Wingie Ignored My Medical Refund Request
I purchased a Pegasus Airlines ticket for a flight scheduled on 10 June 2026 at 22:00 through the Wingie agency, with booking number 1T5135, for a total amount of 493 euros. Almost one month before the departure date, I submitted certified medical documents and requested an involuntary refund due to illness. For about 20 days the agency ignored my applications and did not process my request. Even on the day before the flight, they did not contact me, did not offer any support and did not attempt to resolve the issue or advise me on what to do with the ticket. In addition, obstacles were created in the chatbot and on the website, and because of this I was unable to remove my ticket from the flight in time. As a result, a “no-show” situation was recorded, which I consider to be a consequence of the inaction of the seller, not my fault. Now the agency refuses to process the refund and constantly redirects me to the airline for all questions, even though the purchase was made through them. I consider this behavior gross negligence and a violation of the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502. I request an immediate full refund of 493 euros for the unused ticket and an official written response explaining the reasons for the delay, lack of support before the flight and refusal to process my forced refund request in a timely manner.
