Wingie Has Not Refunded My SAR 2,249.33 for a Canceled Round-Trip Flight
I am writing regarding the unresolved refund for my cancelled round‑trip flight booking made through Wingie. My booking reference is 7547BG, and I paid a total of 2,249.33 SAR for this ticket. I had originally booked a round trip with the following segments: on 19 March 2026 from Dammam to Colombo, on 20 March 2026 from Colombo to Madurai, and the return on 22 March 2026 from Madurai to Dammam via Colombo. Due to the Middle East conflict, the airline cancelled the flight, and the entire round‑trip booking was included in the same refund request. Following Wingie’s instructions, I cancelled my ticket in March in order to initiate the refund process. Wingie later informed me that the refund process had been successfully initiated, but the amount has still not been credited to my account. To clarify the situation, I raised three separate complaints with my bank regarding this refund, but each time the bank informed me that they have not received any amount from Wingie. Despite multiple follow‑ups with Wingie customer service, I have not received clear information, proof of refund, or any concrete solution, and I am stuck between the bank and Wingie without any progress. I request that this matter be checked urgently and that my full refund of 2,249.33 SAR for the entire round trip be processed and credited to my account as soon as possible.
