Whiskas Tasty Mix Cat Food Has Unusual Color and Smell

On August 16, 2026, I purchased Whiskas Tasty Mix cat food from Migros and encountered a serious problem with the product. When I opened the package, I noticed that the jelly portion of the food was not clear as it normally should be, but instead had a whitish appearance. The product also had an unusual and unpleasant smell that was different from the Whiskas cat food I am accustomed to.

Despite noticing these issues, I gave the food to my cat. At this time, I have not observed any clear adverse effects on my cat’s health, but I am concerned about the situation. Because the product’s appearance and smell resembled spoiled food, I want this matter to be investigated urgently, both for my cat’s health and for the safety of other animals that may have received products from the same batch.

Regarding this product, which I consider suspicious, I request that the package and its contents be examined if necessary, that the relevant production batch be inspected, and that I receive a clear explanation regarding the findings. I would also like to be informed about what steps I should take if my cat develops any health problems as a result of consuming the product.
