WhatsApp Fails to Restore Account After Unfair Terms Violation Ban

My WhatsApp account linked to the phone number **+90 *********22 was suddenly disabled on February 1, 2026, and when I opened the app, I saw a message stating that my account was banned for violating the terms of service. I used my account only for personal purposes, to communicate with friends and people close to me, and I have never sent bulk messages, spam, or engaged in any unusual activity. Shortly before my account was disabled, I sent a single message saying, “Can I get more information about this?” to an account that claimed it was helping people find jobs. After my account was banned, when I reviewed the chat history, I noticed that the other party had sent images of weapons after my message, which appeared in my gallery. I did not send, approve, or have any involvement with this content, and I have no connection to such material—I was only the person asking for information. After realizing this situation, I submitted an appeal to WhatsApp support. I received the following response: “We don’t need any more information to determine why your account was disabled. Thank you for submitting your account review request through WhatsApp. Our team will notify you after reviewing your account.” However, to this day, I have not received any positive response regarding the restoration of my account. Despite having no bad intentions and not sending any problematic content myself, I do not believe it is fair for my account to be permanently banned. Since my personal communications and records are linked to this number, I request that my account be reviewed again and that this unjust ban be lifted.

It's been three months and not even a single message was sent—what a shame. I really will have to get a new number.

It opened after 3 months, wait for the time that is available.
