I Received WhatsApp Video Calls from Foreign Numbers +263 and +380

On October 13 and 14, 2025, between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., I received video calls on WhatsApp from unregistered foreign numbers with the country codes +263 and +380. After researching online, I learned that these numbers are from Zimbabwe and Ukraine. I have no personal or business connection with these countries, and I found these unsolicited calls very disturbing.

I immediately blocked the numbers and reported them to WhatsApp. There has been no suspicious activity, data breach, or unusual login on my account. I also use two-step verification and other security measures. Thankfully, there has been no financial loss or data leak.

However, I expect WhatsApp to take stronger actions to block unwanted video calls from unknown or unregistered numbers and to enhance security protocols to prevent such incidents in the future. I request that my personal information be protected and that necessary steps be taken to ensure this situation does not happen again.
