Appeal For Unjust Umingle Ban Due To Chat Misleading F11 Command Trick

I am writing to appeal the ban that was placed on my uMingle connection while I was using the platform as a guest user on April 1, 2026, between approximately 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. During a chat session, another user told me to type “F11” into the chatbox. Since I was not aware that this could trigger any kind of sanction or be considered a violation, I followed their instruction in good faith. Immediately after typing “F11,” my connection to uMingle was banned. I did not receive any prior warning or clear explanation at that moment, and I later learned that this may have led to an automatic ban on my IP address. I would like to emphasize that I had no intention of spamming, hacking, or breaking any community rules. I simply responded to what I believed was harmless advice from another user. I have always aimed to behave respectfully in chats, and this is the first time I have ever experienced such an issue. In this situation, it appears I was misled by another user who may have been intentionally trying to get my connection flagged. As I was using uMingle as a guest, I do not have a registered username or email address associated with an account. For this reason, I believe the restriction has been applied directly to my IP address. I kindly request that you review the chat logs from the specified date and time, especially the messages where the other user instructed me to type “F11”. I am confident that these logs will show that I was following misleading instructions rather than intentionally violating any rules. I respectfully ask that you lift the ban on my IP so that I can continue using uMingle. Going forward, I will be much more cautious about following instructions from other users and will avoid entering any commands that I do not fully understand. I would appreciate it if you could inform me of the outcome of your review and any additional steps I should take. Thank you for your time and consideration in examining this matter.
