Uber Phone Number Blocked - Cannot Use Account
I live in Annandale, Sydney and my mobile phone number has been blocked by Uber without any clear explanation. My daughter had previously used my phone number on her Uber account to book trips, which were correctly charged to her own bank account. After she reported a driver through her account, my number was apparently blocked. Some time later, when I tried to log in to my own Uber app, I received a message stating that my number was blocked. I did not understand what had happened for about a month, and only then realised that I was unable to use my number with Uber at all. Uber later sent me a text message saying they had called me, but I had already missed any contact and the issue remains unresolved. Because this number is also connected to my Qantas Cabin Crew Business account, I am now unable to book my entitled transport trips with Uber, which is directly affecting my work-related travel. I respectfully request that my phone number be urgently unblocked and restored to full use on Uber, including for my Qantas Cabin Crew Business account, and that an explanation be provided as to why my number was blocked in the first place even though the reported trip and payments were linked to my daughter’s account, not mine.
