Last month, I paid $250 to IG Group with the intention of making an investment. IG Group later informed me that the amount had grown to $6,000 and claimed to have transferred the funds to my Trust Wallet account.
However, when I contacted Trust Wallet customer service, I was told that I needed to deposit an additional $1,000 as a guarantee in order to withdraw the funds. After reading complaints and online reports about similar situations, I did not proceed with the payment, suspecting a scam. As a result, my initial $250 investment was never refunded.
I believe these two entities are working together to deceive and defraud users. I request a full refund of my $250 and a formal investigation into this fraudulent activity.
