I Lost Access to My $16,923 in Trust Wallet
I'm an Ethereum miner who was recently the victim of a shocking scam involving my Trust Wallet. My funds were unexpectedly frozen under the guise of a "special event." Scammers have blocked access to $16,923 in cryptocurrency from my wallet.
Now they're attempting to extract even more money from me. They claim that if I deposit an additional $3,000, they will give me 5 ETH. It's clearly a scam, and I'm not interested in taking part in this so-called "reward" event. However, I am left feeling helpless because I cannot access my own funds.
What confuses me is how this could occur without my permission. How can someone just freeze my assets in a wallet that is supposed to be under my control? It violates everything cryptocurrency stands for.
