I Face Frozen Funds on Trust App After Mining Transfer and Am Pressured to Pay Again
While using the Trust app for mining-related transactions, my entire balance was suddenly frozen. I was informed that the funds I transferred were “under suspicion of money laundering,” which is completely baseless. Now, they are demanding that I send more money in order to lift the block on my account.
What’s even more alarming is that they told me if I don’t send the additional funds, all of my existing balance will be permanently lost. I explained that I’m unable to send more money, yet they refuse to lift the freeze or release my assets.
This feels like extortion. I’m being denied access to my own funds with no legal explanation or due process. I believe I’m being scammed or manipulated under the guise of a “compliance check.”
Trust Wallet, if this process is legitimate, then you must provide clear documentation and legal justification for the freeze. If not, I demand that my funds be immediately unlocked and returned. No user should be threatened into sending additional money just to reclaim what already belongs to them.
This needs urgent attention and regulatory review. I’m calling on authorities to investigate such tactics and protect users from this kind of exploitation.
