Trivago Hotel Gave My Reserved Room to Someone Else
We made a reservation through Trivago for a one-night stay at Bursa Yeşil Butik Otel, checking in on June 27, 2026, and checking out on June 28, 2026. The reservation was made under the name Ay Ç***, and the payment of approximately $36 was made from **Gülsüm *'s bank account. When we arrived at the hotel that evening, the only person at the front desk was a girl who appeared to be around 10 years old. She told us that our room had been given to someone else and that the hotel had no vacancies.
When we called the hotel, we were told that their reservation system was offline and that our reservation had been assigned to another guest. Since we had booked through the official system, we requested a refund. Instead, we were dismissively told, "Request the refund yourself." No refund was issued, and no effort was made to resolve the problem.
Because we were denied the accommodation we had reserved and received such poor customer service, I request a full refund of the $36 paid for this reservation.
