On November 2, 2025, I purchased the product “Philips 5500 Series LatteGo Fully Automatic Espresso Machine, 20 Hot and Cold Beverages, EP5543/80” for ₺10,811.71 from Trendyol’s Official Seller (Order No: 10649571551). I received the order confirmation email on November 2, 2025, at 18:27. However, the next morning, on November 3, 2025, at 08:39, I was informed by Trendyol that my order had been canceled because “the product was listed with an incorrect price.” When I contacted live support, I was told the cancellation was due to “the payment being in authorization, giving them the right to cancel.” According to Article 6 of the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Sales, a sales contract is established once the order confirmation is received by the consumer. Therefore, after the order confirmation is issued, the seller has no unilateral right to cancel the sale based on “authorization” or “pricing error.” The authorization process only represents a temporary banking hold, and the sales contract becomes valid once the confirmation is sent. Moreover, the product price cannot be considered an obvious error. As of November 3, 2025, the current market price of the product ranges between ₺20,500 and ₺22,700 (visual evidence attached). The sale price corresponds to a campaign discount level and does not fall under the category of an open pricing error. My requests are as follows: – That my order be honored and the product delivered to me, or – That I be compensated for the loss incurred (the difference between the product’s market value and the canceled order price). I request that my grievance be resolved.
