On March 15th, I bought a red dress from the Torrid store for my friend's wedding, which was on March 20th. I felt absolutely fabulous in it, and I proudly donned it for the wedding ceremony. The following day, I followed the care instructions and let it air-dry instead of using a dryer. Yesterday, as I went to fold the dress and store it in the closet, I couldn't help but notice that the seams were beginning to unravel and the zipper on the back was becoming increasingly difficult to maneuver. During my visit to the store near my house this morning, the staff displayed a lack of courtesy by attributing the issue to user error and declining to provide a refund or exchange. The store employees provided little assistance. If you're looking for a dress that maintains its shape even after multiple washes, it might be best to avoid this one.
