Timbercush Waterproof Boots Leak on First Wear; Store Rejects Exchange

I purchased a pair of Timbercush boots from the Özdilek store in the Özdilek Shopping Center, Istanbul, about a year ago. When buying the product, I was specifically told that it was waterproof, and trusting this information, I paid $189 for the boots. Since there wasn't much of a winter last year, I never wore them; I wore them for the first time two weeks ago when it rained very heavily on a Saturday in Istanbul.

The boots, which were claimed to be waterproof, let water in during this first heavy rain, leaving my feet completely soaked. The product failing to deliver its promised feature caused me both financial and emotional distress. Following this, I took the product back to the store where I bought it, but the store refused to accept the situation and offered no replacement or alternative solution.

I demand that these boots, which were sold as waterproof yet leaked water on their first real use, be evaluated as a defective product and replaced with a new pair. I request that the hardship I experienced be resolved as soon as possible.
