TikTok Phone Number Change Error Blocks UK Affiliate Account

I am having a problem with my TikTok account regarding my phone number and I cannot solve it through the app. My account region is set to the United Kingdom. When I try to remove my current phone number so that I can replace it with my new number, the app shows an error message saying “Something went wrong. Please try again” and the process fails every time. I am fully logged into my account and I have access to my email, my authenticator app and my password, so I can verify my identity, but I still cannot change the phone number. I need to update it because I want to use the TikTok affiliate program and I must have a valid phone number linked to my account in order to secure any funds I may earn there. I tried this several times today and also contacted TikTok support about the issue, but I have not received any response so far. Because of this situation, I am unable to update my phone number and keep my account information up to date. I kindly request that my current phone number be removed from my account or that you enable me to update it to my new number without errors, and that you inform me about the action taken as soon as possible.
