Tight Tonic Refuses Leggings Return Over Hygiene Policy

I purchased two pairs of leggings from Tight Tonic’s official website using my credit card and paid a total of approximately $41. The products were delivered on Tuesday. The following day, Wednesday, I submitted a return request through the website within the 14-day return period because the leggings did not fit me properly and were uncomfortable to wear.
I only pulled one pair up to my legs and immediately took it off because the fabric and construction were extremely uncomfortable. I did not try on the other pair at all. Despite this, the company rejected my return request, citing “hygiene and contact with the skin” as the reason. Even though I submitted the return request on the very first day after receiving the products, I believe rejecting my return on these grounds violates my consumer rights.
I request that my 14-day unconditional return right be honored, that both pairs of leggings be accepted for return, and that the full amount of approximately $41 that I paid be refunded to me. Otherwise, I intend to file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee. I do not want to be subjected to any further inconvenience and expect this matter to be resolved appropriately.
