About one hour ago, I received a video call on Telegram from a user named “SL**.” When I answered, the caller appeared on screen in an inappropriate and naked manner. During the call, a 3-second video clip was recorded and I later discovered that my TikTok account was found and the video was shared with my contacts. The individual also demanded money, but I did not make any payments and immediately blocked the user.
This incident happened while I was in Diyarbakır, Turkey, and my Telegram profile was set to public at the time. I have already reported this to Telegram, but I urgently request that the account be investigated and permanently blocked.
I also ask that my personal information and this video not be spread any further, and that stronger security measures be taken to protect users from similar harassment.
