TEB Unfairly Took Back My Bonus From My Retirement Card
On 09.09.2025, a ₺500 bonus I earned from shopping campaigns was credited to my CepteTeb Retirement Credit Card. However, on the same day, the same bonus was withdrawn with the note “-₺500 Bonus” under the Retirement Card Market Campaign. I called TEB customer service regarding the issue, and the tone and attitude of the representative I spoke with were very disturbing. When I requested the cancellation of my card, another staff member, who identified herself as B****, spoke to me using a commanding tone. This was the first time I experienced such behavior, and I was both surprised and disappointed that a corporate bank like TEB employs such unprofessional staff. Although I have not yet canceled my card, due to this negative experience I am considering moving all my banking transactions to another bank. Regarding my card ending in 3512, I demand that the unfairly withdrawn ₺500 bonus be re-credited, that I receive an apology, and that the relevant staff be given training in customer communication.
