On April 10, 2025, I visited the Rize branch of Türk Ekonomi Bankası (TEB) to collect my TEB World credit card, for which I had already applied. However, when I arrived at the branch, I was told—without any clear reason or explanation—that my card would not be delivered. Instead, they only proceeded with an account holder change transaction.
When I returned to the branch for clarification, I came to believe that my card was intentionally withheld. Later, I discovered that my credit card had been canceled entirely, again without any notification or justification. I was never informed of the reason, and the bank failed to provide any transparency.
Even after contacting TEB customer service and reaching out to the relevant authorities, I received no meaningful response or resolution. Reviewing branch security footage would easily prove the inconsistencies between what was claimed and what actually happened.
I have been dealing with this issue since the day I attempted to collect my card and have experienced ongoing inconvenience and stress. I now demand that TEB provide a full, justified explanation for the card cancellation and address the lack of transparency and accountability at the Rize branch. I expect a proper resolution to this ongoing issue.
