Steam Gave My CS2 Account a VAC Ban After It Was Hacked
I received an unexplained VAC ban on CS2, which is linked to the Steam account I have used for a long time, even though I have never used any cheating software. My account was recently taken over by third parties, and I was unable to access it for approximately two days. When I finally recovered my account, I saw a VAC ban warning on my profile. During my own use, I have never used cheats, third-party programs, or any unfair software on my computer or network.
I have evidence, messages, and documents showing that my account was stolen during the period in question. However, despite submitting support requests to Steam, I have not received any meaningful response, and my appeals have seemingly been ignored. Although my account contains skins worth approximately $5, the financial loss is not my main concern. What truly bothers me is having a VAC ban displayed on my profile when I believe I was unfairly punished for actions that occurred while my account was compromised.
The profile link for the relevant account is: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198424345255/
I request that Steam conduct a detailed review of the period when my account was compromised, examine the activity that took place during those dates, and reconsider the VAC ban that I believe was unfairly applied. I ask that Steam take into account that I never used any cheating software during my own gameplay and provide me with a clear written explanation regarding the outcome of the investigation.
