Starbucks Blonde Roast and Brew Temperature Issues
I couldn’t tell any difference between Starbucks' "blonde" roast, supposedly lighter, and their other roasts. They all seem over-roasted, almost burnt. While I don't expect the quality of specialty coffee roasters, I hoped the beans' origin flavors would be preserved.
Additionally, the brewed (filter) coffee is served at extremely high temperatures. It's so hot that it burns the mouth, not just the hand. Coffee shouldn’t be served above 80°C (176°F). Waiting for it to cool down is tedious and a waste of time. Considering the high prices, it's disappointing to encounter such poor quality with burnt beans. This complaint is made public to raise awareness and seek improvement.
