Sony Suspended My PS5 Account Due to a Closed Card and Offered No Solution
I use a PS5 and have a Plus Deluxe membership. I renewed my membership on November 23. Previously, a close relative's card was registered on my account, but they had to close the card due to a suspicious transaction. Because of this, my account was suspended. Customer service claims I purchased two games, but I explained they were free with the Plus membership. They insisted otherwise. I then asked them to charge the amount to my newly registered card, but they said that wasn’t possible. I explained that the bank couldn’t process a reversal because the card was closed, and the refund process was already completed. I even offered to pay in cash, but they still refused, insisting on a reversal from the closed card. I asked if this meant my account would never be reactivated, and they told me to contact the bank. Despite paying for my subscription on November 23, I can’t use the service or access games I previously purchased. This situation is absurd. I kindly ask Sony to provide a real solution. I can’t change the past or reopen the closed card. Stop expecting the impossible and find a workable solution. The card is closed, the bank won’t reverse the transaction, and the card isn’t even mine.
