Solgar Magnesium Glycinate Has a Mold-Like Smell and Unusual Capsules

I purchased a bottle of Solgar Magnesium Glycinate, 60 capsules, from Eczane Plus, located inside the Milenyum Bazaar arcade on Karadağ Street in the Tepeören area of Tuzla. I bought the product approximately 30–45 days ago for around $23, paying by credit card. When I first opened the bottle, I noticed a distinctly unpleasant, mold-like smell.
Having used different forms of magnesium for years, I expected to experience the usual benefits of magnesium bisglycinate from this product as well. Normally, this form of magnesium helps me feel noticeably relaxed, but the capsules from this bottle had the opposite effect and kept me awake. I took them regularly for approximately 10 days, but I noticed no positive effects. When I inspected the bottle, I also found that some capsules were pure white, others were off-white, and the capsules appeared to vary in size.
The inconsistencies in the capsules' color and size, along with the unusual smell, have made me seriously question the product's authenticity. Although I contacted Solgar's head office to report the issue, I have received no response so far and have been unable to reach anyone who can address my concerns. When human health is at stake, such uncertainty and lack of customer support regarding an expensive dietary supplement are unacceptable.
I request that Solgar and the pharmacy where I purchased the product formally investigate this matter, verify the product's authenticity and contents, and initiate legal proceedings against the responsible individuals or organizations if necessary. I also expect a resolution to my complaint, a clear written explanation, and direct communication from the company.
