Snapchat Sent Screenshot Alerts I Didn’t Take – Possible Security Issue

After chatting with a friend on Snapchat, I left my phone untouched for a few hours. Later, I discovered that the app had sent a notification to my friend saying I had taken a screenshot of our conversation. However, I hadn’t taken any screenshots, and the phone wasn’t even in my hands at the time. This has now happened twice with the same person.

Concerned that someone might have accessed my account, I immediately changed my password. Thankfully, I haven’t experienced it again, but I’m still worried. If someone else did take those screenshots, I need to know, as the conversations were private. Snapchat must investigate this issue urgently and ensure account security for its users.
