Snapchat Saves Remixed Snaps to Chat Instead of Sending Normally

When I remix and send an old photo from Memories on Snapchat, it automatically saves to the chat instead of sending as a regular Snap. In the top left corner, it says "From: Memories", making it obvious that the Snap was not taken in real time.

However, for other users, remixed Snaps appear as regular Snaps, without being saved in the chat. This issue has been happening to me for a while, and I don’t understand why.

Snapchat, please fix this bug so that my remixed Snaps send like normal Snaps, just like they do for others. I want my Snaps to disappear after being viewed, not be saved in chat. Please resolve this issue!
