I paid Singapore Airlines for seats that were changed, is there a way to get value back?

If Singapore Airlines changed the paid seats you selected, you may be entitled to a refund of the seat fee — but only in specific cases like an aircraft change, operational/safety issues, or when the airline can’t offer the equivalent seat you originally paid for.

Official terms say that if your specific paid seat or identical category isn’t available due to airline changes, you can request a refund of the seat selection fee (normally processed in ~6 weeks).

Start by contacting Singapore Airlines customer service directly with your booking reference and screenshots, and ask explicitly for a seat fee refund because the airline didn’t deliver the seat you paid for.

If support does not reply, you might want to consider posting a complaint on Xolvie in order to bring attention to the issue and try to find a solution.
