Shortmax Charged After Cancellation Caused Bank Overdraft
I had an active subscription with Shortmax, which I cancelled in April 2026. Despite this cancellation, Shortmax still charged me in April 2026, and the payment was taken from my Commerce bank account, which caused my account to become overdrawn. After noticing the unexpected charge and the resulting overdraft, I contacted Shortmax customer service and was informed that I should submit my issue here. I find it unacceptable to be billed after cancelling my subscription and to have my bank account negatively impacted as a result. I request a full refund of the incorrect April 2026 charge and expect Shortmax to take responsibility for any consequences caused by this wrongful billing. I also want clear confirmation that my subscription is fully cancelled and that no further charges will be taken from my account.
