Issue On BHIM SBI Pay App

I am using the BHIM SBI Pay application on my Redmi Note 10S and Redmi Note 13 devices and, since 06 June 2026, the app has stopped working. Every time I try to use it, it shows a “device security verification failed, error code 8” message and does not allow me to proceed with any UPI transaction. I have already contacted SBI/BHIM customer care about this problem, but I have not received any response or explanation so far. This ongoing error is preventing me from using the service as intended and is causing serious inconvenience in making digital payments. I request a clear and detailed explanation for why the BHIM SBI Pay app is not functioning on my Redmi Note 10S and Redmi Note 13 and what exactly this “device security verification failed, error code 8” means. I also expect guidance on how this issue will be resolved so that I can use UPI payments normally again.
