Riot Vanguard Bug Closes League of Legends Games and Punishes Players

For about a week now, I have been frequently receiving Vanguard errors on the champion select screen while playing League of Legends on Windows. When this error occurs, the game closes on its own, and when I reopen it, I am penalized as if I intentionally left the match. I have experienced this situation 5–6 times in a single day, and today I received a 12-hour penalty because of it. My in-game account name is SigmaSett#1881.

Even though the issue is entirely caused by Vanguard, the system holds me responsible and punishes me. I contacted Riot Support and explained the situation, and they sent me some written troubleshooting steps, but the suggested “solutions” did not fix the problem and the same issue continued.

I request that Riot Games conduct a detailed investigation into the penalties applied to my account specifically in relation to this Vanguard error, identify the root cause, and permanently resolve it. I also ask that the unfair penalties resulting from this error be reviewed and that the necessary corrective action be taken.
