Riot Games Banned My Valorant Account Despite My Clean Gameplay History
On January 19, 2025, while playing a ranked match in Valorant, I first encountered the "Cheater Detected" screen, followed by errors on my computer: VAL5 (Account signed in from another location), and VAN152 (Hardware Ban) warnings. When I tried to close and reopen the game, I discovered that my account had been permanently banned for using third-party software or cheats. Despite sending approximately 20 tickets in the last 15 days, some of them were automatically closed, while others were responded to with "We have already reviewed it, and there is no situation we can change." I believe my account was stolen or that my computer may have been infected with a virus because, a few days before the ban, I clicked on a dangerous link sent to my school email. Despite repeatedly explaining this issue, we have still not come to a resolution. This account, which I have been using actively since the closed beta, contains in-game content worth ₺19,000 accumulated since July 7, 2020, and all the effort and time spent have been wasted. Initially, I will send an unofficial request to Riot Games, and if we cannot reach an agreement, I will escalate the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board.
