Qatar Airways Misguidance Caused Passenger to Miss Istanbul–Bangkok Flight
On Sunday, November 2, 2025, I experienced a serious hardship during my round-trip Istanbul–Bangkok flight that I purchased from Qatar Airways. Due to incorrect directions and guidance provided by Qatar Airways staff, I missed my Istanbul–Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) flight. When I tried to purchase a new ticket for the same day, I was not issued a ticket by Qatar Airways and was therefore forced to buy a new ticket from Turkish Airlines. Despite having purchased a return ticket, I later learned at the airport during check-in for my return flight that my return ticket had been canceled, which caused further hardship. In addition, during this process I was forced to pay an extra 6,915 baht. I attempted to contact customer service but was unable to receive any assistance. I am requesting a refund and compensation from Qatar Airways to remedy the hardship I experienced.
