Purina Gourmet Gold Beef Wet Food Caused Bloody Diarrhea in Both of My Cats

We purchased two cans of Purina Gourmet Gold beef-flavored wet food through Migros, and fed them to our two cats—both of different ages and normally on completely different diets. The only thing they had in common that day was this particular wet food. Shortly after, both cats developed bloody diarrhea.
We immediately took them to the vet, who diagnosed them with a parasitic infection. I want to emphasize this: the only shared factor was this canned food. One of the cats had recently given birth, and there’s now a high risk the illness was passed on to her kittens through her milk.
This food is clearly putting the health and lives of pets at serious risk. I’m extremely disappointed and formally filing a complaint against Purina.
A product sold under the promise of nutrition should never endanger the animals it claims to nourish. I demand that Purina immediately investigate this batch, recall it if necessary, and take responsibility for the suffering it has caused. Enough is enough—this cannot be allowed to continue.
