I Face Purchase Restrictions on Assassin’s Creed Titles in PlayStation Plus Extra

I am an active PlayStation user and currently hold a PlayStation Plus Extra subscription. However, I am writing to report an ongoing issue that negatively impacts my user experience on the PlayStation platform.

Specifically, when browsing the PlayStation Plus Extra library, I noticed inconsistencies in the purchasing options for certain games. For example:

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla appears in the Extra library, yet I am still able to purchase all its editions.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is also in the Extra library, but I cannot purchase its Gold or Ultimate Editions—only the Standard Edition is accessible.

This inconsistency creates confusion and frustration. It is unfair that while I can buy upgraded versions of some games already available in my subscription, I am restricted from purchasing others in the same category. This feels like either a technical glitch or a flawed design choice that needs correction.

I previously attempted to resolve this issue by contacting Sony PlayStation Türkiye via email, but email and live chat support are no longer available. When I tried to resolve it by phone, I couldn’t find a representative who could address this problem.

I explicitly request:

An explanation of why certain editions of games in the Plus Extra library cannot be purchased.

Clarification on whether this is an intentional restriction or a technical error.

A corrective action plan and compensation if applicable.
