On January 28, 2026, I tried to upload a pin for the first time through the Pinterest Android app. I attempted to upload a Whisper-style text image pin, but the app displayed the following error message:
“Something went wrong. There was a problem verifying your video. Please try again or use a different video.”
However, the content I was trying to upload was not a video at all—it was simply a text-based image.
At the same time, when I tried uploading another pin, it was uploaded successfully without any errors. Because of this, I would like to understand why the specific pin I first tried to upload triggered this error and could not be uploaded.
I request that this issue be investigated, that I receive a clear explanation as to why the pin was rejected or failed to upload, and that any underlying error be corrected if it is caused by a system issue.
