Pdfe.com One-Time Payment Turned Into Hidden Subscription

On November 3, I created an account on pdfe.com solely to download a PDF as a one-time action. The website stated that I could download the PDF for 31 TL, and I had no intention whatsoever of starting a subscription. However, on November 10, a monthly usage fee of 2,440 TL was withdrawn from my account. The invoice number for this charge is 4689733.
While downloading the PDF, I did not see any notification or confirmation screen indicating that a subscription or membership would begin. I emailed pdfe.com customer service about the issue, but they claimed that I had been clearly informed about the subscription and the charges. However, there was absolutely no subscription warning or notice displayed on my screen.
This was my first time using the site, and I do not accept such a high fee being taken from my account without my explicit consent. I have canceled the subscription and request a refund of the 2,440 TL that was withdrawn.
