Otelz Confirmed My Discounted Booking, But Hotel Refused Check-In Due to Promo Use

I made a reservation through Otelz.com, using an Akbank discount code, Otelz points, and the online payment discount feature. The booking was confirmed, and I arrived at the hotel the next day after 2:00 PM as scheduled—only to be told by hotel staff that I couldn’t check in.

The man at the reception told me that because I booked with too many discounts, the hotel would not accept the reservation. He claimed that Otelz applies discounts arbitrarily, and that these promotions reduce the amount paid to the hotel, so they would not honor the booking. I was left stranded with my family, after traveling all the way in the heat, only to be turned away.

This is completely unacceptable. I booked through a legitimate channel, followed all steps, used platform-approved promotions, and received a confirmation. Whether or not Otelz and the hotel have internal payment disputes is not my problem as a paying customer.

I demand a full refund and official accountability from Otelz, and I expect them to ensure their promotions are honored by their partner properties. This kind of treatment is deeply frustrating, and I will not hesitate to escalate the matter if my grievance is not resolved quickly.
