2014 Nissan Qashqai Stalls at Idle Due to Known ECU Software Issue
I own a 2014 Nissan Qashqai 1.2 DIG-T. For about two years now, my vehicle has been stalling suddenly at low RPMs, especially while idling and in stop-and-go traffic. When the vehicle is connected to a diagnostic device, the fault codes P061A and C1130 appear.
Based on my research, this problem is quite common in 2014–2015 model 1.2 DIG-T Qashqai vehicles and has been resolved by Nissan through an ECU software update. I have also learned that many vehicle owners were able to have this update performed free of charge under goodwill support.
Since I live in Batman, the nearest authorized service center to me is located in Diyarbakır. I contacted Nissan Turkey by email, but I have not received any response so far.
For this known and chronic issue, I request that Nissan Turkey provide goodwill support and perform the ECU software update on my vehicle free of charge.
Progress
Because of a fault code that appeared in my 2014 Nissan Qashqai, I have been unable to find a solution for about four years. Through my own research, I learned that abroad Nissan has issued a software service bulletin for the same problem, that the issue was resolved by applying an update, and that there are owners whose vehicles have been fixed in this way.
Based on that, I contacted Nissan customer service. They told me that I needed to go to the nearest service center and that they would email the relevant workshop. I live in Batman, and I was directed to the Nissan Vurallar Diyarbakır service center about 100 km away, where I made an appointment for January 19. Because the weather was snowy, road conditions were very difficult; in fact, my car slipped on the road and arrived at the service center with damage to the bumper and headlights.
However, when I got to the service center, my car was sent back with the claim “no update” without any proper inspection, any examination, or even a software check. The long‑standing fault was still not resolved, and I had to leave the service center after taking a risk on the hazardous road conditions without receiving any support.
My request is that the software service bulletin published abroad for this issue be examined in detail to determine whether it is applicable to my vehicle in Turkey, and, if possible, that the software update be applied to my car. I ask that the persistent fault in my vehicle be fixed with Nissan’s official software update and that the process be explained to me in a clear and transparent manner.

Dear Fırat O., Thank you for contacting us. A short while ago, the company's response regarding your application on the same matter was shared with you. For any other inquiries and feedback, you can call our Smile Line. Sincerely, Nissan Turkey Customer Relations
I'm asking, even though I told you otherwise, you sent me to a service 100 km away, saying you'd check it—did the service actually look at the car? They shouldn't have, so why did you send it?
