MyDiabetes Charged Me Unexpectedly After Free Trial

December 20, 2024 1:18 PM82

To investigate their meal planning and tracking tools, I registered for what seemed to be a free 7-day trial with MyDiabetes. Although their website presented a simple approach, I quickly found it to be anything other. I was surprised to find a £29.99 charge on my account following the trial's conclusion—one which I had not approved. Apparently, I signed up for the "free trial," so I was unintentionally registered in a monthly membership. The terms and restrictions were buried in fine text and the registration process lacked any obvious warning. Worse, cancelling the subscription was a difficult and time-consuming process. From a health-conscious service, I expected openness, but instead felt duped. Steer clear of this firm everywhere.
