Expired Milka Products

Among the Milka confections that I own are choco chokies, soft choc, and choco moo. I have also purchased a few of their other varieties. When I was eating some of these items, I noticed that some of the products had gone past their expiration dates and that some of the cookies, like choco cookies, had become mushy. Even though I haven't had any problems like food poisoning, I'd still like Milka to explain why this happened and make up for any money I've lost as a result of it.
