I bought a 2023 MG HS, and at just 14,000 km, I took it in for its first service. When the service team checked the oil dipstick, there was not a single gram of oil left! Now, they have started an investigation, and I have to go back every month for oil level checks. Meanwhile, independent mechanics I consulted suspect an issue with the piston rings or valves, which would require a full engine teardown. If that’s the case, I absolutely will not allow such a major repair on a nearly new car! If my vehicle is burning oil at this mileage, MG must take responsibility and either replace it with a new one or upgrade me to a higher model. MG, contact me immediately! Otherwise, I will take this issue to the consumer rights board, the courthouse, and every MG forum and group I can find. I refuse to accept a faulty vehicle!
