For about 1.5 years, I have had to repeatedly bring my 2021 Mercedes-Benz C200 4Matic to the authorized service center because of never-ending electronic and engine problems. The car has broken down on the road multiple times due to motor and electronic issues, and it has hardly ever been out of the shop. Even though I have taken it to the authorized service at least 7–8 times, the problems have never been permanently resolved.
I also haven’t been able to use features like Apple CarPlay and navigation for a long time. Due to an error said to be related to the computer module, these functions don’t even appear on the screen.
Despite all these issues and the fact that the vehicle was still under warranty, no lasting solution has been provided even after repeated service visits. I wasn’t charged for the service work, but I was forced to pay $1,260 USD to extend the warranty. Because my vehicle’s problems didn’t stop and I kept having breakdowns, I reluctantly agreed to the warranty extension — yet the same problems continue.
I take my car to the Mengerler authorized service in Bostancı, Istanbul. Each time, they tell me the issue has been resolved, that very detailed inspections were done with Mercedes-Benz representatives, and that there is no problem left. However, just two days after leaving the service, the engine warning light came back on and the car began to lose power — meaning the same problems returned.
Because this vehicle keeps breaking down, has nonfunctional electronic features, and still has no permanent fix despite many service visits, I request that my grievance be resolved and that my vehicle be replaced.
