I experienced a very similar issue on Gate.io Simple Earn. My main redemption request was frozen for several hours during extreme market volatility, while smaller test redemptions processed instantly. This showed that the platform was operational, yet access to the larger position was selectively delayed. During this period, my funds were inaccessible while the token price increased multiple times. By the time access was restored, the price had already collapsed and I lost the opportunity to act. What is most concerning is the lack of transparency. Support repeatedly cited generic explanations such as “high traffic,” despite evidence that smaller redemptions were functioning normally at the same time. No clear or technical explanation was provided. This raises serious questions about fair access, operational controls, and equal treatment of users during market stress. A “flexible” or “simple earn” product should not restrict access when timing is critical. This does not appear to be an isolated incident.
